Doctor Profile
Dr. Victor LaCour attended Western Kentucky University and graduated from the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Optometry in 1984. Dr. LaCour has been practicing in Tuscaloosa since 1987.

The Eye Exam
Healthy eyes begin with a thorough examination by your doctor or our Dr. Victor LaCour. We at Tuscaloosa Optical would be most happy to make recommendations.

Opticians
The pharmacists of the eye care industry. Our nationally and state certified opticians can help you select the proper lens and frame style for you. The Prescription
Once the eye examination is completed, our opticians take over. We begin with a careful analysis of your prescription by taking into consideration any unusual effects, thickness, weight, and other factors that influence proper lens selection.

Contact Lens
Our fitters are well informed of the latest techniques and contact lens innovations. We carry a wide selection of daily wear, extended wear, toric, disposable, planned replacement and colored contact lens. We carry brands like Ciba Vision, Accuvue and Bausch & Lomb.
